Off brand "bedrug" installed......SWEET!
#25
After reading this post, I ordered one of the above mentioned carpet bed liners. Coincidently, I have a real Bedrug in another one of my trucks. I thought I would give a comparison.
I paid $135 for the off-brand liner with shipping. I believe I paid $300 for the Bedrug shipped. After installing both, I would say that you get what you pay for... The carpet quality is close to the same, but the Bedrug seems to be a tad more dense. That said, the real disadvantage of this cheaper liner is the actual 3-piece design - If you know what you are doing, you can install one of these cheaper jobs to look pretty good. It will take 2 hours longer to install than a Bedrug would and the overall look isn't quite as seamless as the Bedrug, but you get a decent looking liner.
Get one of these cheaper liners if you are on a budget and you would rather use the money on other mods... BUT, if you want the best liner as far as fit, finish, and functionality I'd have to reccomend the Bedrug.
