Default ok, i tested xtreem vs mothers plus powerball

well, i seen on here where some guys had ordered the xtreem stuff for their polished wheels so i figured i would try it and see how it came out.

here are my results. yours may vary

both wheels cleaned. xtreem on the left, mothers(with powerball) on the right

mothers

xtreem

now for the closeups

extreem

mothers

ok, these are photos and no you can't see the full detail of each wheel. heres where my opinion comes in. the xtreem is good for tight spots and times when you dont' feel like dragging the drill out and doing all that jazz. it doesn't spatter on me. however, it leaves my hands black.

on another note, with mothers you will get your hands just as dirty if you do not use a drill and powerball. in which case you have to own a drill and spend more money to get the power ball.

only dislikes i really have with the xtreem is it did not get rid of the majority of water spots like mothers did. mothers did leave some water spots on the wheels too. just not as many. i ended up going back over both wheels with the mothers and powerball to make sure they were waterspot free.

also, before anyone says compare mothers vs xtreem hand to hand, nah, i have a powerball, i plan on using it. so my test was somewhat jaded

i purposely kept the wheels out of the sunlight for the photos for i felt it would better show the results.

Good study and pics.

I have the powerball, and really, any good polish with the powerball will give good results.
I wax my wheels with pure (mothers) carnuba wax after polishing too.

i used xtreems wheel wax stuff. it really isn't a wax but it's supposed to help keep the wheels look better longer.

what do you use the 3 muskateers for LOL!! DID you try the mothers liquid metal polish? Im just wandering if the mag paste works better than the liquid. Cool product though, they should compensate you for your testimonial!!

I use the liquid and the mag polish. Liquid seems easier to use with the ball.

x treem got all of the water spots out of my wheels without any problems. i liked the power ball on my boyds but the 219's eat the ball up.
