I've noticed that the windshield is lookin almost sandblasted or grainy and when the suns in my face its becoming very noticeable. Anyone else had this prob, and how can it be fixed...can u get it polished? Haven't been to an autoglass shop yet, but thats next.

You can do a lot of good with a nice wash/clay/wax if its still bad you can hit it with a glass polish.

Really? Mine has that "blasted" look to it too if in the sun just right. I was going to buy a new shield ($100 my cost) but if I can just polish it?

ever wash ur truck JFWY, but my windshield only gets like that when it hasn't been washed in a couple weeks and all the bug guts are smeered around

no, nine are like small pits from road debris. Small pieces of sand hitting the glass at 75 mph does wonders.

I think if I had any continued stay in Cali I'd have to tear my truck apart and seal any exposed metal.. Im not a fan of rust

been workin on mine with a 7424 using a glass kit, slow and tedious, but improving every time I hit it.

rock chips... hit the sunlight in certain angles any windshield will look like hell, if old enough... I just placed mine on my truck and plan to on my marauder soon... a new windshield is usually less than $200... well worth it if you ask me...

polishing seems like a big pita...

Check your insurance- I have lived in Florida and Massachusetts- both instances the comprehensive coverage included one windshield per (calendar)year... I have mine replaced every December. It has only been broken once, the haze is a safety concern that could cause an accident so it gets replaced if you complain.
