The time has come to get some new wheels for the 'Hoe but I need some opinions. I have decided on a Centerline Stingray and Bridgestone A/T Revo combo but I can't make up my mind if I want to go with 18's or 20's. The 18" combo is ~$80 less/set and 4lbs lighter/corner. My Tahoe is 4wd and I do plan on keeping it stock height. The 275/65/18 is ~.2" taller than the 275/55/20 as well.

18x8 Stingrays with 285/60/18 which are ~.5" shorter than the 18" Revos I am considering: (btw.. mine would look exactly like this one minus the bug shield and bull bar)


20x8.5 Edge (not considering these rims) with 285/55/20 which are ~.45" taller than the 20" Revos:


So... 18 or 20? :help:

I'd go with the 18's if you're ever going to use it off of the pavement. Especially since you're going to be running an A/T, I don't like a 20 on less than a 35" tire when it comes to the off road look. But 20's would still look good, if that's the look you're going for, then I say go for it.

20s. The ultra series stingrays have thicker spokes, so an 18" in that wheel will look fuller and not as open if that makes sense. Either way though, I like the look of the black one on 20s

I say go with the 20's but say stay away from the revos they are supposed to be a 50000 mile tire i got 31000 out of them and i don't drive hard at all i got 66000 out of a set of rt\s goodyears and they are supposedly softer.

i like both!

i have went 17, 18 20, back to 17... now back to 20"

i finally got what i wanted on here though. stock height, i would run a 20" with the 55 tire
