Default Paint Fade

When I bought my truck from the dealership they had put SS decals on it and taken off the regular ones. Well I went on for awhile and now the decals are starting to fade and I want to take them off. I took off the small dealership decal on the back and the paint around it is faded a little bit. And in the right light if you look at the door you can tell where the original decals used to be. The paint fade isnt too bad but it still concerns me. The truck hasn't been buffed since I got it and I was wondering if the paint fade would buff out. The truck is black BTW. I've had it for a year and a half. Besides that I dont know how long it sat on the lot with the decals on it or anything. You think It'll buff out?

I went ahead and took them off just now. I went through a bottle and a half of goo gone to get those big decals off. It didnt fade near as bad as I thought it would. I think it'll look fine as soon as I get it buffed.
