Default Paintable Mirrors?

Where can i buy the paintable mirror back to replace my chrome one?

check out ebay. They have paintable mirror caps. All you do it pop off those chrome caps and replace them with the pained ones. If you want a whole mirror I would go with some street scenes.

I got my mirror caps from them, below is the before and after on my truck.

But back in June I had the whole mirror painted....looks way slick. No more ugly plastic, dont mind the picture I had vinyl flames on my truck for 3 months. They are off now! just wanted to see if I liked it.

humm....so i could sand my mirror down and paint the whole thing huh? Does the paint stick well to the plastic?

The mirror cap would last the life of the truck (since they are actually found on Yukons and some Tahoes). If you paint the plastic yourself, it would all depend on the prep work you put into it. I'm sure someone else can offer more insight on what needs to be done to get it to last a decent amount of time.

i would go with just the cap, much cheaper, longer lasting, and better lookin IMO.
