I am looking to get some marine blue or arrival blue (the new for 03 blue) painted side mirror inserts for my Sierra. Does anyone have these part numbers? They should be the same part numbers as those on an Escalade.

I have looked at the new escalades, in the new 03 blue, and the mirrors look the same as my 03, so the blue inserts should fit.

I think I read on here before that you can't get the insert. You have to get the whole mirror.

 

Actually, you can get just the insert. It's the part that replaces the chrome part right?
I've seen em for sale on ebay, but the guy who sells em is an FSC member who is a dick IMO and he sells them for way too much. I'll get you a better price.
Just find a truck in your color, get the VIN and I'll get you a price.

 

Do you need a vin from a truck with the colored inserts already or just a vin from a truck with the color that a person would want? I'm interested in replacing the ones that I have b/c the white is a different shade from my truck. I got mine from a tahoe to go on my truck.

The VIN number is in thw window on the drivers side. I would go to the dealer at about 3:00 in the morning (so you don't get have to deal with salesmen )and find one the right color and copy down the VIN.

 

sounds like a plan. Those dealership people are so annoying, kinda like sharks that smell blood.

 

You need to find a truck in the color you want that has those painted side mirror caps and get the VIN. That way, when the guy at the GM parts dept. punches it in, every single part(and corresponding part#)will show up. That's how I got the part numbers for the factory pre-painted Escalade handles for my truck
