Painting lower section of front bumper
Has anyone painted the lower part of an '03+ Silverado front bumper? I'm talking about the part that has the fog lights and recovery hook holes. I want the paint to match the color and feel of the front bumper's top cap. I've always thought it would look good, especially on a black truck. Big concerns of course are flaking, chipping, and durability.

The bumper valance? Yeah any paint shop can do it. I wouldnt think it could cost more than 100-150$ to get it done. Check around and try to find a local paint shop or a guy by word of mouth that can paint thats your best chance at a good price.

I had mine painted. Both upper and lower valance. It cost me 150 bucks with an option for a full warranty for 50 bucks. This includes flaking , chipping , etc. So far I am lucky to have it not chip. If it does, It will be repainted for free. I'll get some pics tommorrow, since i'm at school right now.

i don't understand why GM made these that palstic to begin with, they should have matched it to the rest of the truck. no other part has that gray plastic.
