It is hard to do this in louisiana because of our shitty roads. It all goes to crap in no time.

I agree, mine wouldn't last too long before it got a rock chip or something. My luck is if I paint it then it will get chipped by something. Hopefully it doesn't happen to my grille that I just painted.

I'm thinking about painting mine as well. Since I'm a painter I can just re=do it if I get any chipping. I'm kinda worried about what the back bumer will ook like though. If the front plastic is body colored then I guess I'd have to paint those little plastic steps to match. I know those Regency trucks have roll pans but I like my step bumper. I know you can get the paint to stick to those parts with a good adhesion promoter and some flexibleizer in the the paint.

you also want to think about if your truck is lowered a lot a little wont hurt but mine with the 5/7 drags all the time so no need to be painting it over and over to keep it looking good

u can try putting a clear sticker over it after it is painted. i am not sure of the name of it , but they make it to go over the front of your hood so that rocks won't chip it. i have seen them and unless u look hard at where the sticker ends you can't notice it at all.

if u were to wrap the entire bottom piece with this, it should work fine against rocks and getting nicked.
