How did you lower the truck. What did you use.

I removed the 2" lifting blocks in the rear (requires shorter u-bolts). For the front I backed off the torsion bar key adjusting bolts.

I'd like to lower another inch or two but don't know how to go about doing that on a 4wd truck.

Where did you get the shorter u bolts and what size were they.

Could you use the McGauhey's (sp) 2" lowering spindle and a 2" drop shackle?

I bought the bolts at the dealer. I ordered the bolts for the Silverado SS (they don't use lifting blocks) and they worked fine.

I think that the shackels would work fine for the rear. The front of a 4wd is completly different than a 2wd so the spindles wouldn't work. I think that I might be able to do something with different torsion bar keys but I don't know for sure.

Yeah, I have no idea what's going on under a 4x4, I just remember reading about this new spindle meant for 4WD and AWD full size GM trucks/suvs.

I didn't realize that they were for 4wd. I did a search on Google and could not find anything. Do you know where I can get some info?
