Here are some pics for size refrence on the 285/50s. The tires im running in the pics are Nexen Roadian HPs. So far they are quiet and smooth.

Mine is a rcsb but it'll give you a little idea:

3" drop rear only on 285/50 20:

3/6 on 275/45 20:

With the small amount of rubbing you get, its an easy fix. When I put my 22" wheels on, it had a little rub at full lock as well. That's a 31+" tire. All I did was shave a little plastic from the bottom of the wheel well and rub all gone

Not a crew cab but 275/45/20 with a 3/4 drop. At first I thought they were gonna be big but they actually after a while seemed the perfect size, any under would possibly dent the rim in big pot holes and bumps and bigger doesnt look good in my opinion. Plus it keeps it over speed bumps without scraping

well, I have decided to go with a 275/45 for now, because a 2/4 drop with helper bags is in the future for the truck. I think the 45 will look ok at stock height, but will give me that extra kick in the tail to get it lowered.

I really appreciate all the input and pics guys! Thanks a ton!!!

I actually had my 275/45s on when it was stock height and it didnt look bad at all, actually kinda fit it. It will give you that extra kick yes, but doesnt look bad so dont worry about looking stupid or anything like that. But it looks even better lowered good luck!

I also got my 275/45's when I just had the rear lowered and it looked decent. The main reason I got them was so I could drop it in the future but still look decent while I was in the process
