well i painted the hd hood for the tahoe awhile back. while i was clearing it the damn wind blew my plastic loose and i got some trash in the paint. well i finally got time to water sand and buff/polish it all up. i think it came out pretty good. pic were taken on a cloudy day.

 

Looks good! In the first pictures, I was like......WTF??? But the final finished product looks GREAT to me! I wish I had the skills for paint & body work.

 

Looks great. The color is a bit ooff but that is a pretty hard color to match well without cutting it in and spending time blending.

 

HD hoods are sick nasty, looks sweet love that color green.

 

In person it's a perfect match. The fenders weren't quit cleaned up. I'll take some sunny day pics. It looks perfect.

 

Plus the clouds reflecting off the hood didn't reflect off the fenders the same.

 

Thanks for the kind words every body. This is the first time I've painted since I was like 16. I worked for my father n law back in the day and he let me jam out doors and what not to learn.

 

Looks GREAT!!!! I have been looking for another hood option and haven't really found what I was looking for. I never thought about the HD hood. Post some sunny pictures!!! Maybe a few from a distance!

Looks awesome! The more and more I see the HD hood swaps, the more I know Im gonna do it myself someday! Probably be the first thing I do if I ever get around to putting my turbo kit on.
