Default PICS of shaved pan+tailgate, new tail+headlights, escalade handles

Kustom Werx did a good job on the rear, I'm happy with how it turned out. The truck is dirty - I'll be taking better pics after a good Zaino session after the paint cures

btw the backside of the roll pan is bare metal and I'm wondering if spraying some kind of rust inhibitor would be a good idea...wont it eventually rust through? They might have already sprayed something on it I'm not sure.

few more pics in album in sig link

Trust me, You DEFINATELY need to put a rust prohibator, a really good one, on the back of that roll pan!!!
I had a Sir Mike's put on my 99 and in their instructions it says to put a coat of paint on the inner side. I questioned my painter and he said "Just put some can spray-on bedliner on it". Anyways, I used some Dupli-color and put about 3 heavy coats and it still rusted through. I took it back and showed him and he agreed to pay half the costs and this time he painted the inside of the new roll pan.
I didn't understand why he didn't do it in the 1st place, like Sir Mike's said.
(Sir Mike's will not warranty if their pans aren't prepped like they're suppose to). IT SAYS IN THEIR INSTRUCTIONS TO PAINT THE INNER SIDE OF THE PAN!!!!

BTW: Your truck looks BAD ***!!!!

Real nice. Anyone have long term reliability info on mods like these? I mean, I guess the idea is that the welds and filler pieces should be as good if not better than stock for a DD, but can one expect good durability for an everyday truck?

Hopefully one of these days I can get a nice 99+ truck to compliment my T/A.

yeah, I'll call them on monday and see whats up with the backside, it makes total sense to me that they need to coat it with something instead of leaving it bare metal...

and about the welds and strength etc, cody at kustom werx said they do not tack weld, but fully weld the entire edge of the peices not only for strength but so it will look seamless in any angle/light

thanks for the compliments

BTW - I'd love to see a tonneau cover that's smooth fiberglass, painted to match the rest of the truck... Other than that the truck looks killer.
