Default Pics of Steering Column Gauge Pod ???

Anyone have a the Autometer Pod mounted on their steering column? I'm trying to see what it looks like, and I'm wondering if it blocks the view of any of the other gauges.

I think I will be putting my Aeroforce scan guage in there. Does it need paint, or is the black a match already? I assume tilt works as normal? Can you still read your fuel guage?

I plan on running a couple aeroforce gauges, and a fuel and boost gauge. I'd kinda like to have the boost gauge right in front of me.

Hey Wilde, does it seem to block any of the factory gauges, or is it livable?

Oh, does anyone have the part #? I looked at Jeg's and Summit, and the one they show looks like it mounts the guage on the left side of the hazzard button.

It is livable, imo does block fuel as much as that shot seams too. But if you ever have to pull the gauge cluster, that pod makes it a real PITA.
I didn't paint mine, and I doubt that auto meter changed the the location of the gauge. all-thou that position looks better than where mine is located.
I can snap a few more pics for ya if you want.........

I know some people had problems using that gauge pod on certain year trucks since the steering column plastic is different. I think it was 2003+, might want to do a search on it.

I like it in my truck. I have an Autometer electric boost gauge mounted in it. It is easy to read. No need to paint. Matches the steering collumn color nicely. Tilt works fine. Looks like a factory piece. You are limited to using electric gauges only. There is only room for wires unless you do some modifying. Wilde is right about getting to the cluster once this is mounted. It is a pain in the *** to remove the dash bezel with this gauge pod in place. I would recommend it to anyone though.
