I guess the height of the person driving might change the view of the gauges a little. As I said before, I did not paint mine and it blends in with the factory colors on my truck (2000) nicely. I don't know if the newer model years are different or not. IMO it is a very nice set-up. I would recommend it to anyone.

I just took out the screws that hold the covers in place. I believe there were 3 or 4 of them. The 2 covers bolt together like a clam shell. Once the bolts are removed, the upper cover can be moved around enough so you can make sure that you don't drill into anything behind it. I just took my time and made sure I had the clearance needed to drill. It was not hard.
I will get you a part # tomorrow. I am at work right now. I bought mine at my local speed shop not Summit. I am pretty sure Autometer only makes the one that I have though. I think the picture must be wrong. I will get back to you with the part # so that you get the right one.

summit is bad about using the same picture for numberous applications ie ford/gm/dcx. I believe the one summit has is the same one. but a part number would be a way to know for sure though!

Thanks guys! Final question, how does the guage stay in the pods? I have a 3 pod pillar that I will also be using, but the gauge is a tad smaller than the opening, what keeps it in there? Do you put something around the gauge (tape, rubber grommet, or something) so that it fits snug in the whole or what?
