First I wet-sanded the tails and then my body man smoked (painted) them. Im not exactly sure what TYPE of paint he put on them. All I know is that it was black paint. He put about 3 coats (not too dark) of paint and then added 3 coats of automotive grade clear. I left them over night at the shop and picked them up the next day and they were ready to be put on the truck.
I would think that 5 coats of paint would look SICK on your truck cuz they would be darker and match your black truck perfectly.

Thanks Bryce. Its not that hard to have 4 subs under there. You just need some shallow subs that dont require a lot of air space so that they will still hit good. And trust me these do hit HARD.
Just be prepared to have certain ******** call it a "hack-job tranny tunnel".
