what is it u use to repair the wheels?

 

the process varies based on the severity of the curb rash, but basically you just need to sand out the scratch and work it back to a shine. i start with 80 grit and work back to 1500. then polish it out.

as for polish, i use mothers billet polish as a final, and a local company's stuff for everything else.

 

I have a bit of curb rash on 2 of my wheels do you think its ok to sand them it out atleast to smoothem out.

 

You kind of answered my question but if you were to do a step by step write-up of the procedure with pictures it'd make a good sticky

Not that i have even a scratch on my wheels and certainly no rash but it's good information and can be used to restore any bare polished aluminum surface.

Mothers billet polish IMO I think is the best for do it yourselfers but it takes a little elbow grease to make it happen. I recently bought some bad dog polish (Green and White) with the white polish you almost get the same result but with less effort. Give it a try and see if you like it.
