The BMW board guys swear by plasti-dip. That's what I'm using for the chrome trim around the windows on the 5er. I sprayed my kidney grilles black and got flamed for it... stuck up douches... anyway they all said to plasti-dip it, I was worried about the durability but it comes off and leaves you with the same even finish you started with so that's a plus.

I blacked out the rear of my vette with it. Looked pretty good. It just feels a little weird to the touch.

Stuff works great! I did my buddies TBSS wheels about 7 months ago and its still holding up strong. I also just did my SS 22's a couple weeks ago.

im gonna go buy some now and do my wheels.

i have question. say i did on my paint... would it come right off also? i have a very small idea id like to do but scared to try it lol

I've heard that if you want it to come off easier, apply one or more coats of wax to the area to be sprayed.
