Im pretty good at polishing my own wheels when needed, once u do them once or twice real good, u wont ever have to go back and polish them like u did the first time. If it rains on them just simply go over them with a shammy or micro towel thats wat I do. Im on the process of polishing my five stars 17's b./c there bad, at the end results end up looking clean.

i seen a article in truckin mag a while back, a guy dismanteled the tire from the rim, took the wheel and polished this **** out of it, took it to a spray booth and cleared the **** out of it. (or was it a clear powder coat... i cant remember) but it look great and it holds up agains weather!!!
