Default powder coating???

well long story short i bought a set of 08 z71 18s and wanted them black and polished instead of the the gray and machined.. stripped the old clear and paint, and after getting about 1/2 thru with ONE wheel im sick of this idea and i cant just put them on the truck bare...

So i my real question is what do you guys normally pay to get a set of wheels powder coated??? cant seem to find anyone in tuscaloosa that does powercoating either...

I paid $35/wheel to strip the factory powder coat off my SSS wheels and $50/wheel to powdercoat them black. It's been 5 years and they still look brand new!!

Coyote said $120 to strip, media blast, and powder coat each... $100 if I've already got them stripped... That's no go, got another guy I've got to get ahold of for pricing back in Haleyville (my home town) pressurized solutions if youve ever heard of them lol

i bought some airplane paint remover from the local auto parts store. i then sanded the wheels myself to roughen the aluminum surface. i then took them to this guy who powdercoats. on my wife's 2010 jeep he charged me $100 for all 5 oem wheels (spare included). on my wheels for my 01 gmc presently undergoing a makeover, he charged me $130 for all 4, a lil more but aint complaining. he said he appreciated me bringing them pretty much ready and still sandblasted them to be on safe side. hell, i appreciate the prices.
