Yeah the hood is going to completely change the look of the front end, meaner and beefier. I'm looking into 22s at the moment, I prefer billet due to weight savings and better styling that most of the cast stuff (IMO). Raceline, billet specialties, intro, etc.

Hood is getting test fit tomorrow and should be done and painted within a week or so.

Belltech 3/6 components are here boxed up ready to be put on

All done. It's FAR from perfect, but it's more than good enough given how otherwise ragged this truck is. You'd need a lot of hours into an HD hood to get it to fit exactly like the OEM GMC hood.

Rear end dropped 8". I think it's probably too low to drive in it's current condition. I've got about 1/2" of clearance if that between the axle and the bumpstop on the C notch and about the same from the axle pumpkin to the underside of the bed. I'd need to notch the bed rail (belltech has a kit for this). Also, my Corsa exhaust pipe is firmly wedged up against the rear axle as well, so that wont work. I'd really hate to cut it up but I'd need to at this height. I don't think the dual 4" tips would work well at this height anyways. They'd probably be all scrapped and crapped up being so close to the ground.

I dont think a lift block will work with the flip kit due to how it's set up. Gotta go with a stock shackle. Thanks though.

The Belltech kit has a really cool way it sets up the pinion angle. It has thick ears on the axle saddle that lock into the underside of the leaf spring perch. I was pretty shocked that my pinion angle looks almost perfect just eyeballing it. I haven't measured yet, but I dont think I'll need any shims.
