wow Bill i just saw this... freakin' awesome!!! She is gonna shine!!! you need to use Adams polishes on her... but let the paint cure for at least 30 days before you wax it, the paint needs to release gases and solvents... I had this problem on my first blue paint - i had hundreds of tiny bubles that would form because i didnt give it time to breathe, I learned the lesson the hard way!!
you can clean it, but no waxes or sealants... if youre handy with a polishing wheel you can use that, but polish is not a sealant or a wax!

Yeah, I'm dying here, can't wait to get it all together and back home After 30 days or so I'll have it cleaned/sealed/waxed and I'm thinking of clear 'bra' for the mirrors and front-facing surfaces?

yea make sure you wait even longer for the clear bra - that really seals the paint and you dont want any curing going on underneath that stuff, you WILL regret it... people dont realize the process of paint. When mine was done again this year, for weeks and weeks I would arrive in the morning at my shop and the entire thing smelled like a paint booth... and it was HOT in there... if it is cool or cold where you are storing it, allow for at least 45 days. Im just looking out for you bro, if there are any paint guru's in here, please chime in!

Just got a call from the painter, he says that after looking at the whole thing he's going to go and paint the driver's side rear door...it's the only thing that didn't get painted....at his cost. He's going to paint the rear door,to ensure a complete color match!
Now that's service

If I had your $, I'd throw mine away! Whole truck should be painted anyway. Since it'll be a GQ.
Garage Queen!
Some colors have many variations. I forgot what the car was, but IIRC, it was a mid 80's Buick Century. I wanna say, gray metallic. That was quite some time ago, point is it was 7 or 11 different potential color mixes. Some crazy **** like that. Matchin isn't as easy as some may think.
