Default Quest for new Mirrors

Hey all, I am looking at replacing the mirrors on a 03 chevy truck. Rite now, I have power mirrors with heat and signal built in and they also power extend for towing. I would like to get something with power, heat, and signal but without the bulky tow stuff. I would also like to be able to color match or get them in the color I want. Should I be looking for stock oem mirrors or is there a good after market mirror out there? What are you guys using and what do you like? Thank you.

Do not buy anything after market. I havn't seen anything well made that doesn't shake all over the place. Find an OE mirror that you like and roll with it.

Not looking to trade for anything as these are power extend and they do not always extend without helping them out a bit. I would not feel rite trading these. Thanks for the info custm.

Are these the kind of mirrors that you have?

If you get a set of oem mirrors, just pop the mirror caps off and have them painted or paint them yourself. I did mine myself and they turned out pretty good for my lack of experience. Here is a link to my thread and a pic of mine all said and done.

Camo, Those mirrors on the Dmax are the ones I have now. What you have done on your white truck is exactly what I am looking for. Thank you for the info and link.
