It's a lil dirty, but I had to give camera back. Now, I have to wash the next warm day & get it ready for sleep til next spring.

Bill,
It sure didn't come w/. the hard lockin bags. Just added those. I had em sitting for 3 yrs til just gettin around to it. I thought I needed to relocate signals & do soldering work. I don't do electrical. My time/ work schedule & gettin that coordinated w/. my bro.'s ( my soldering expert) was extremely hard. When my work gets busy, dependin on what I'm doin there, I'm gone sun up - sun down 5days/ wk & part of SAT. He always takes his vacation & goes away. Another yr, we built a shop 2/3 the size of his house. This is 1st time he was home, since his wife had surgery & he lacked $ to go away. Work was slow for me, it was just the right time.
Worst part, I coulda had bags 3 yrs. ago. I didn't have to do any wiring for bags. They're so convenient. I started using bike more for runnin round since )I now have storage.

Even more recent: Windshield & 3 lites across. Now I can actually see!!!
Stock 1 lite doesn't cut it.

Ya, it's now functional w/. the 3 upgrades. It was misting rain the other day. It barely reached my helmet w/. windshield on there.

All that is left is a set of pipes. I already know what kind, but that can wait. I'll prolly just do a Stage I which is exhaust, K&N & tune. I'm not sure on tune, since they're are 3 ways to go on that.

It's just like upgradin trucks, only smaller & ya, it's just as expensive.

For now, it's done. But we all know how that goes, don't we Bill?

I've been spooked a few times: other day it was ~40* & tires were cold. I made a left, rolled on gas & it got a lil squirrelly. The last time the back did that, it was in rain. IIRC, that was a few yrs ago. I've never forgotten since. U regain composure after in your pants. I was around traffic & lucky. Even stock, HD's are torquey.

Longest I've taken it so far is 165 miles. It has just under 9K.
It suits me just fine. I've never gotten < 39MPG. It's rated @ 37 CTY/ 51 HWY.

Next up for it is a nice jack for detailing & service. Mostly oil changes, small stuff. This is my 1st bike, so I'm not super familiar.

Just like the truck. I know history good or bad. Best part: I bought new & it's paid off.
