rear-ended someone today :bang:
well, i fucked up my bumper today. pics up soon...
it looks like i'm only out of paint, some brackets and a set of fog lights at first glance. i'm about to go rip everything apart now...
long story short, i was at a stop sign and traffic let up for a moment so i thought this dude would go. i looked forward, saw his brake lights go off, and he started to move forward. i looked away from his car toward traffic, and still had plenty of time to make it into traffic so i went. he never left.
there was literally a gap of 15-16 carlengths so i thought he went. what a dumbass.

i took more pictures but here's the focus of them...
like i figured, i'll need mounting bracketry, bumper internal metal supports (all of the metal pieces inside the plastic bumper), fog lights, and some paint. all in all about 1000 bucks... consequentially, does anyone have any of these items for sale? if not some part numbers will work too

damn that sucks. deoesn't very bad at all. But just knowing the fact you f*ked up a perfectly clean front end just gets you mad.
Ive almost gave people rear end love taps that way on "Yield" slight turn stop lights.

yeah it's not too bad, but it's still about 1000-1500 dollars worth of damage. since the insurance is paying for it, i might replace the bumper anyway. that way i won't have to disassemble the sumbitch to replace the structural supports on the inside.
on a side note, it only took me about 30 minutes to take everything apart. it took me about an hour to take pics and reassemble.
**** happens i suppose...

I did that in a customer's GS350 a year or so ago, same scenario, I figured that the person would have gone and they just spazzed out and froze, then BAM*&^%$#@! I must admit that I would have felt worse if it happened in my own truck though...
