I just did some on an 04.......... I tried Tarminator brand bug and tar remover. Stuff worked surprisingly well. It was all WalMart had at the time that I thought would work. Side moldings were a breeze. Left no adhesive on the truck. But the tailgate emblems were another story. They took me a good 3 hours to get all the **** off there.

I took all mine off today at like 2 in the afternoon when it was about 102* lol. came right off with no residue, took about 5 minutes max for all my badges except the Silverado on the tailgate(wanna keep that one)

this is all decently good news, i just wanna get these badges off and wash the truck....

Just be really careful wheny your cleaning off residue. You can scratch the clear pretty easy.
