Use a heat gun and peal it off or use fishing line and run it behind the molding. Do a search and you will find many posts

This is what I did on mine.........A heat gun, a body eraser disk that you put on a drill, and maybe some rubbing alcohol. Heat up the trim with the gun but be careful not to get too close to the paint or let it stay in one spot for too long or else it might mess up with the paint. Usually there will be some adhesive left over from where the strips were attached, that's where the eraser coems in. You can get the body eraser at parts stores and if they don't have one you can get them at the local paint and body shop. You attach it to the end of a drill, make sure you note what the rpms of the drill are and what the recommended rpms of the eraser are.....don't want to peel your paint off do you? After you take the remaining adhesive off you might want to wipe the area down with alcohol or something to get the stickiness off. OR..........you could just take it to someone who does detail work and have them take the sticky crap off and buff your truck. Did I forget anything? If I did, someone please fill this guy in.......

My side molding came off VERY easy. I slowly pulled the molding while I sprayed some WD-40 to help soften the glue and breakdown the adhesive. All of the glue stuck to the molding. No need to use an eraser wheel or rubbing alcohol. I didn't even use a heat gun. When I was done, I went over the area with some wax. My truck was only 6 months old when I pulled the molding and I think the glue was still soft. Maybe that's why I had no problems.
