Yea, what Mac said.
There's 4 bolts I think and take the bumper off, then just unbolt the tow hooks. It's not hard at all.

keep the bumper on, dunno why you would have to take it off except for clearance issues. i took mine off in about 10 minutes...had trouble finding the right size socket...and gave em to my neighbor. it's as easy as turning a ratchet, and if you have a compressor, it's as easy as wiping the dirt off your hands.

My bolts for the hook were put in from the inside. SO when I took off the nut and tried to take it out it hit the bumper. You might be able to work it with takn the bumper off, I just like to take things apart and it was easy.

I took mine off as well - just bolted to the frame rail
Did not have to remove the bumper
I would like to have some type of cover - insert
to fill in the hole
I think that look crappy....
not as bad as tow hooks on a 2wd ??
