Default S-10 to Ranger wheel adapters

I've got a buddy who's got a '91 S-10 he's fixing up. one of our friends recently wrecked his '00 ranger and we were wondering if some parts were interchangeable. we want to put the 20s of the ranger onto the s-10. we've found wheel adapters that'll work, but since we have the ranger to get parts off of, would the rear end and front hubs swap over? if so what all would be involved with that? thanks
