Shaving the door handles.
I've got a yearning (a yearnin is like a hankerin) for shaved door handles and might do it this next month while the truck is in my buddy's shop for some body work.
Anybody had any experience's to share with me to help me recover from this particular brand of insanity? What happens when the battery goes dead? What emergency entry solutions have you come up with or know about.
Thanks, Gramdpa Jim (this yearnin goes back to my upbringin... in the 50's... you know... Elvis, Bill Haley & the Comets, Little Richard, Miles Davis, Ed "kookie" Burns, Don Garlits when the world record was in the 8.30's at 180mph, continental kits, Arnie Beswick when he was still in Illinois, George Montgomery racin Caddilac engines, Stone Woods & Cook, 283's, and Ed Roth!)
Grandpa's having fun!

I wanted to do this same thing, but opted to go with Expedition handles instead.

Best of both worlds. I dunno if the Hoe's/Burbans have the same deal or not, but IMO that's as close as you're going to be able to get without having to fabricate a lot of ****.

Ever thought about getting some vette handles put in? They look very sweet.
To my knowledge(HRP's rules), no door handles=no racing
Here is a link to a truck with vette handles
