Talking Show off your GM body Lifts!!!!

Just looking to see what some of you have for body lifts. i have an '07 vortec max silverado classic and i want to put a 3'' body lift on it but just curious to see how everyones looks, nothing radical just body lifts.

Do it the right way and suspension lift it. Body lifts don't look very good. If you do a body lift don't do anything over 2 inches or else you'll be seeing too much between the frame and body.

Thanks man. I know you are looking for a 03-06 but I do not think too many people are running body lifts on here, so I think a 02 would give you some idea's. IF you do end up doing a body lift make sure you do use the lock tight! I did not use it and a few months later I was taking the bolts out and putting the lock tight on every bolt. Just a little FYI.

i dont have the extra couple grand or that much time to do the suspension lift. im not taking the truck off road all the time so all that work and money is just gonna go to waste for me. i just want something to give the truck a more aggressive stance. plus, some of the kits i been looking at have guards that go between the body and the frame to hide that gap. and from looking at that first pic i'd say that body lift looks damn good..

I think it would do you just fine to give that aggressive look for sure.

oh yeah definitley. i love my truck so much but i just want it a little tougher looking. thanks for the advice on the thread lock to by the way. now putting the lift blocks on will that take care of the rake i got going on in the front or would i still need to get a leveling kit??

I would change them if you want to do bigger tires.
