Heres my NNBS for ya. 3" body and 3.5" suspension lift on 33.5 tires.

And heres an older one right after everything so you can see how the gap guards cover and stuff didnt have the front ones on thou at this point. you can see the frame a little more which i just got black tube steps and that helped out tons with that.

Ill have new pics up here soon as the truck has changed slightly

Helluva nice truck man. and you know now that i look at trucks like yours the fact that you can see the frame really isnt all that bad to me. like you said, putting running bars or step sides on it can help hide it anyway, which is what ill end up doing anyway...my wife still needs to be able to climb in somehow.

I waited until I got a Fabtec lift on sale for around 1400, and its definitely worth the money to stay with a suspension lift and away from the body, just do it right the first time. No disrespect to the fellow members on here with body lifts but looking at gaps and your hitch hanging way down never looks good to me. if you want to just make it look aggressive crank the torsion bars and a 2" block in the rear and you can clear 285's

heres a few pics of mine-

Unfortunately that doesnt work on NNBS, no torsion bars. And mmmm you may be able to get the 285 in there with no rubbing, but not quite sure as i have 295/70/17 and i still rub at full turn at times. NNBS is slightly smaller in the wheels wells i think. 33" measured wide at the bottom. But what you say is true. What i hate about the body is things lining up after wards, But i can deal with it
