Default side molding

how do you remove the chrome side moldings that come on some of our trucks

it's held on with 2 sided tape. The short version is it just pulls off. The long version is getting the remnants of the tape can get time consuming. I pulled mine at the end of a hot day took 45 min's give or take. you will need some type of adhesive remover(to make it easier) but a thumb works also. wax it when your done.

use some 25lb fishing line to cut off the molding, then use bug and tar remover to get the rest of the glue crap off. I did it today to one of my emblems, worked like a charm

if you go to your local auto paint store, they should have an eraser wheel that you put on the end of a drill. THIS WILL NOT HURT THE PAINT. works well and saves thumbs. good luck!! if you need help pm me.
