U got pulled over. Damn. Weve had ours blacked out for a long time and never had anythng said. Like 6 coats of vht. Looks good to on the blue truck. And when u hit the brakes u can see the bulb fine. I like it lighter like that on yours tho. Looks sharp on an all black truck

It is pretty simple. Scuff your lights down with some 1500 or a scuff pad. Wipe them clean with some paint thinner, or if you do not have that soap and water( BUT BE SURE THEY ARE TOTALLY DRY befor painting. You can use night shades rattle can tint( as i did) Also there is new stuff out from Rusto that is called lens tint, that I have seen great results with, might actually try it on these once I get my other tinted lights in. You simply do even coats of the night shades untill the tint is where you want it. Let each coat get tacky. Add a clear coat(or many as I did) after all of it. Let it dry for a day or so, then polish them out with some light light rubbing compound. You can also wet sand with 15-1800 and then polish for a perfect finish. For the most part the rattle can stuff holds up ok, but my third light has faded a little bit. This was simply a hold me over untill I get the auto painted ones in.
