Had mine done at a shop, clear with black mixed in. don't know the ratio but they are wayy too dark but its too damm late now!
Lights on.

Parked lights off.

lots of sanding with 2000 grit, 2 or 3 coats (light) paint and clear, good to go. thats what i did on mine.

Thanks man, just trying to give the guy a few more options. Everyone likes a different look, in my experience tinting them gives them too much of a glare are too shiny for me, plastic covers look...well plastic. For my preference painting was the best as they match the truck perfectly and have the same reflective properties as the paint.
