Gotta be careful on the tape lines, it will lift. I trimmed my headlight rings on my s10 with it. Im curious about the clear also, it should still peel, but i think it might blister.

That would seem to be a great solution for those living in winter cities and not wanting to purchase winter tires and rims, but yet don't want their beautiful chrome rims pitted by salt, etc over the winter.
By the way, I like the "killed" look. Either way, agree those rims are killer.

It may not be quite as easy to remove wiith clear over it, but I can tell you for sure it won't be permanent. Think about it, its designed to be removed easily, therefore it isn't a good base to begin with if you're looking for something permanent.
Like someone said before, it would be an ideal product for someone not wanting to buy winter rims. That's a good idea right there!
