I was wondering if anyone knew if stock aluminum wheels are clear coated?

How would you go about stripping the clearcoat off?

i guess you could throw some aircraft stipper on there or sand/soda blast it off

I can tell you from experience...DON'T DO IT! I had this done a few years ago and keeping 'em polished to a decent shine takes a LOT of work.

im thinking about gettin mine done and gettin em painted or powdercoated black to, ill probably have someone do em for me though
