3.0? I'm thinking a 2.7 pulley. Why go halfway?

Looks good Bill , All she needs is wheels .
So when could you start buying modded trucks at the dealer ? They still give you the 5yr /100k power train warranty ? No questions asked ?
Did they install a boost gauge ?
Is the stock pump used , magna volt ? Just curious .

more like keep the 3.0 or 3.3 & get an 8" crank
... more belt wrap = less potential for slip. the only reason i didn't just swap the jackshaft pulleys on my car is because it would've made a couple more psi than i was willing to push. i ended up doing a 2.9 with a 15% underdrive rear to make 11psi on a stock LS1, but it slips up top. when i get the monies for a forged motor, i'm using an 8" 8-rib crank & doing the 20% overdrive cogs so i can keep a 3+" snout pulley

Picking up a fresh set of Esky 22s today... probably won't be on until spring time though as these will be my winter duties.
Tim, check out Grabiak Chevy, very cool dealership. They do all kinds of installs and honor the manufacturer warranty.
I've actually yet to even check that now that you mention it. It's my understanding that the flex fuel trucks don't even need a pump so Magnuson doesn't include them in the kit... I could be wrong though.

Indeed they do

It's unlikely that I'll swap to a smaller pulley before spring time, snow is coming soon so I'm in no rush. When I do though it will most likely be just a 3.3" pulley and a retune, that alone should put me over 400rwhp and low 13s... that was pretty much my goal.

I have ZERO regrets going tvs1900 over a turbo. For day to day use, its impossible to beat.

I felt a huige difference from going to a 3.4" pulley to a 3.0 pulley, Makes 9 psi and is super safe

Correct Flkex fuel trucks have bigger fuel pumps from the get go. My Dads 2011 flex fuel needed no fuel pump when we did his tvs 1900

I just figured it may be a bit much on a 5.3 with a lot of factory parts... but I'm all for it haha

Awesome, but if you just got it new, why not get a 2014? Either way, sick truck. Love the color, and lmao at the pic labelling the performance parts. I never wouldve guessed! Lol

Yours is a 5.3 with headers right?

I got about $9k off of my 13'... I basically paid sticker for the truck with a blower and headers. I got a good kick out of the labelling too lol.
