I've daily driven my 2001 Ram for the past 6 years until just recently when gas started costing an arm and a leg. I used that as an excuse to get dad to let me drive his 1999 Mustang GT, and also to keep it from just sitting there looking pitiful. My toy is a 1984 Camaro Z28 that's having to wait until I find a real job to get finished.

Now I'm sorta on the fence whether or not to keep the Ram and lower it (already have most of parts) or sell ram and buy mustang from dad, or sell ram and get something fuel efficient. Any ideas? I'm sorta leaning toward keeping the ram and seeing how much I can get out of it.

sledge hammer massage to the front inner most part of the body where the front rear of the tire would rub. the wheels are actually offset for a late eighites corvette. then ull need 1.25 billet spacers if ur running the stock rear along with an adjustable bar to center the axle exactley under the car. only about 1/2 of clearance on the backside of the wheel to the car.

drive mine everyday to work and where ever. been workin out of state the last 5 years so in 4 years I have managed to put around nearly 100,000 more miles on it. Only truck I have and need it to get to some places I work.

when I got it.

What kind of out of state work you do? That's pretty much what I used my truck for too for 5 years. Miles add up quick.

Pipe Fitting and welding mostly travel to LA and south Texas mostly since I usually try to work for the same people. What were you doing?

The whole point of me building mine was to have something to drive everyday. Everything I have done so far, was done in hope of making it a better driver.

My wife's car now sees less then 4k a year, so it will become the vehicle of choice when I am not working.

I am hoping to find a little beater pickup to drive back and forth to work, and leave my suburban at the office. This way it will be easier to track my work mileage for business purposes. Once my Dad starts getting his retirement, I am taking over the business. I plan to put the suburban in the business name and fully separate business from personal.
