Tell me about it. I should have gotten the DJM drop that my friend has. His truck rides so much freakin nicer than mine. His don't nearly handle like mine, but for everyday use I get tired of bouncing over every bump. Everything else feels like a cadilac to me after getting out of my truck. Even my new corvette feels stiffer but it don't beat me up on the bumps.

I have a spring /hanger shackle drop (3fr /4rear) and have been told by friends that have tucks like ours that are not lowered that the ride is the same. I have no problems with my ride at all. Now before I pulled the bump stops on the front and rear it beat the **** out of me, but that was only for about 10 miles till I got it home. Stock size shocks and all!

yea i have probably the best shocks available(IAS) and it still rides rough. another reason for raising it back up is that my dad just got a new boat and i want to be able to take it to the lake.slowverado i will sell you the leaf and coil springs cheap if you want them.

Thats the reason I didn't lower mine like that, I did a 3 inch shackle drop and it sits perfectly level. Rides the same and handles better. Also I put a bigger tire under it to fill the wheel wells might be a good idea for you if you plan on towing a boat, i got 285/60/18 and they give it a tough look.

I lowered mine with DJM lower control arms and a rear flipkit + shackles and it rides about like it did when stock. I went to Doetsch Tech shocks and they firmed it up a little, but i like a little firmness since i was used to driving a firebird previously The only time i really lost ride quality was when i went to my 40 series tires, which i expected and i think it was a nice tradeoff
