I would go with a 285/70/16 BFG ALL TERRAIN KO's , excellent tread life for a off road looking tire. Remeber you want to keep your overall tire diameter within 2-3% of original tires. Go to 1010 tires on the net, they have a cool program that computes all sorts of tire specs, you input original tire spec then new tire specs. My buddy runs the KO's on his 4wd and got 55,000 miles out of the set.
good luck............

I've owned bridgstone duelers A/T (non revo's). great tires, at the time consumer reports had them #1 or #2.

285's will fit...on my z71 the 285's rubbed only the left front when i was backing up turning to the left.it wasnt very noticable and didnt hurt anything.it barely rubbed and quit after some miles were on the tires...........i went with the BFG's ,great riding tire for on and offroad..........

They will fir a stock 2wd with the factory rims with very minimal rubbing when reversing, they should have even more room with a 4wd. If your looking for some beefy tread check out the Maxxis buckshot mud terrain, they get 50,000 miles or more out of a mud tire, i have had numerous buddies run those with excellent results liked them way better than the BFG's they replaced and were cheaper. Go to www.maxxis.com they have some new ones out that look pretty sick.
