I hope the 285/50's tuck without sticking out too far. If not I'll just have to keep the two extra for spares for the rear and order 255/55's for the front if it absolutely comes down to it.

Anybody else think these wheels and tires will or will not tuck on my truck? Thanks guys for any imput! I know 285/50's will tuck, but it all depends on offset of the wheel. Like I said these wheels have a +20mm offset and they're 18"x9" Cragar 616C wheels.

I might have to put 255/55's up front with 285/50's out back. I'd like to keep the same tire size on all four corners so I can rotate them, but now I'm not so sure thats the case. I know 95brightteal's had 255/55's up front with 285/50's out back with a 3/4 drop and it looked absolutely beautiful! Anybody else have any suggestions on tire size?

I'm gonna do a 3/4 drop cause I want some rake to the truck and to give it a purposely mean look. I'd love to put 305's on the back, but the cost would be too much for me and I don't absolutely need the grip of a 305 right now. 255/55's up front and 285/50's on the rear is sounding tempting right now or just 285/50's on all four corners, but then Im wondering if the 285/50's would fit with the offset of the wheels. I'd consider 305/45's if I could find a good deal on a set of them.

If you do 285/50 all the way around just make sure under full compression you dont hit the fender. with my 265/60's i barely tucked the tread of the tire when compressed and it lightly rubbed the inner fender.
I dont think my 255/55 did, because they were 1.5" shorter.
I think you will be fine with 285/50 up front, just check your clearance

I'd like to do 285/50's all around, but what do you guys think would look meaner with a 3/4 drop?
-285/50's on all four corners
-255/55's up front....285/50's out back
-255/55's up front....305/45's out back
The truck is going to be daily driven so I need a tire that I can get some good mileage out of and I see that the 305/45's are only made my nitto. The truck is going to be black with chrome wheels and with the 3/4 drop it's going to have a fair amount of rake to it. Thanks Guys.

niche throttle wheels
Do you still have the rims? One of mine is cracked at the lug and they are soooo hard to find. Let me know! Thanks.
