Post tire size dilemma

lets start this off by stating what i have. its an 06 rcsb 4x4 lift blocks removed and 2-4 lowering kit (spindles shackles and hangers, and a slight torsion bar untwist) so its pobably closer to a 3-4. after much searching i decided i wanted a set grey torque thrust st 18x8.5s with a 285/50/18 ... but to my dismay they arent being made anymore. so i did more searching and found that cragar makes an 18x9 in chrome, but heres the problem for me, im picky on how the tire sits on the rim, i like there to be a nice even bulge to the sidewall of the tire. do you guys think that the 285s will still look ok? because after seeing post 15 in https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...2F50+18&page=2 im thinking that a 9" rim would be too wide (the tires in the post have the right look to them imo and iirc the titan rims are 8" wide) so i have been thinking about going to a 295 45 18, but they are a little shorter, maybe too short i like more sidewall...not to mention that the tire choices available for either sizes are slim. ugh i am aware of the fact that i am nuts, but i am really starting to pull my hair out!

I have been doing the same thing, 18" makes it hard, let me do some searching, i think 295/45 might be a little short, its a 28.5" tire. Im on a 3/4 with 30.5" tires

yeah that looks good but i want to keep the same size all the way around. not only that but i dont think my truck is that low, that looks like a 4-6 and im pretty sure that there would be too much fender well gap on mine.
