Tire suggestion?

Yeah its 28.5" tall but with a 4" drop in the back it would look alright, and you would want a 9.5" wide rim at least. http://m.flickr.com/photos/52921992@...07914/sizes/m/
I have a 2.5"/ 4" drop and I'm running a 295/45ZR18 and it looks tight

thanks for the replies. I think i'll be going with a 275/40/20 on the back, saw some pics on a truck and liked the stance. as for the front i'm still undecided at the moment

Mine are 305/50-20 on all 4 corners. In reality if u plan to use ur truck as a 'truck' then 50's are theoretically the shortest u shud go to preserve ride and load. That said I tried real hard to go shorter to a 40 series, but needs at least 9.5 rim to accomodate. Once these Toyos I bot are beat thats prob the direction I'll head. Post up pix once u do it!

Its the widest recommended width you can really go on a 8.5' rim with a moderate profile. For a lower profile you'll have to go narrower on the tire to keep it within the proper rim width and not have sidewall bulge (which just looks sloppy).
This is from another post, not my truck, but I have the same tires going on SS rims.
