if you wanna save weight drop the 20s. Simple. However Jae is right. Lower treadwear=more grip. I ran a set of Nitto's on my SS wheels I had on for about a month. Nittos were great hated the 20s. I have another set of nittos on my truck now and they're pretty dam good as well. I've personally had 2 different nitto's, good year, set of Yoko's and a set of falkens. Falkens werent so great IMO, but they had some traction. Kumho's are good and Yokohamas are phenomenal on traction for a street tire.

My first set of tires i had that did what i wanted them to were Nitto 404's..but mine was a 285/50/18..I used them at the track a few times and for a street tire they were very impressive..they also handled very well and did good on wear!

I had nitto 404 285/50-18 and they were pretty good all around but I find the tire too big for my likings. Went with 20's with hankook ventus 275/45-20 but ditched the whole package because it was too heavy. Now I have my 18x9.5 Eagle Alloys 219 with toyo proxes st 295/45-18. I love the way these look on my truck and they are very nice tires. I use to run them on my factory 16's too. Toyo's use to hook up ok but with this new setup it's a diff story. I'll be looking into a 18" dr next.

we need to have a continuously updated tire thread to keep up on the sport truck sized 16"+ tires. Seems the tire companies are always dropping and adding tires for our trucks. I am having a tough time finding 17" tires in a 27-30" tall but in a 50-35 series width size, doesn't seem to be much out there. really diggin the 390/40/17 drag radial that i think M&H has out
