Default Touching up the wiper arms...

Is anyone elses wiper arm coating chipping off? I'm thinking about pulling them off, stripping them down and repainting them.

Mine are chipping also, looks like poo. I've often thought about doing the same thing, just haven't gotten around to it.

i've done this on several other vehicles, pretty easy just sand down the chipped parts and hang them up and paint away. luckily my trucks wipers hasn't done this YET!

OK, dumb question to some, but how do you get them suckers off? I can get the bolt out, but they are still stuck on the shaft...any tricks to getting them off?

I've repainted wipers arms before, I used a high strength black exopy primer from ppg. It's pretty chip resistant and it has been holding up to the UV rather well. The only downfall is the price of the paint, A bit over $3.00.
