"Tried" to throw some 22s on my truck last night.lol
My buddy had his Z71 up at our shop last night and we were putting on some 22" wheels for him to run and see if he wanted to buy them. They are super "bling" wheels running some toyo tires. Anyway, I thought it would be pretty cool to see what two would look like on my truck. It was about then, I realized there was no way in hell those things would fit on my truck, front or back. I have a 3/4" drop, and the sidewalls were too much for me to stuff under the fender wells. What size tires do you lowered guys run on 22s to fit them under the fender wells and not rub anything. I really like the 22s, but damn those things are big! They made my poor little 17" boyds look like gocart wheels. I think 20s would be max for my truck, but would get some 22s if I knew there was a tire out there that would make them fit on my truck.

I would run a 22x9 or 9.5 max.... most 22's don't come with enough backspacing to tuck on our trucks, and the most common place of rubbing is on the rear fender lips. So if you roll the rear fender lips flush and get the right backspacing 22's, then you could run a 265/35(usually better) or a 285/35 tire and have no problems what so ever.
you'll most likely want to drop the rear a few more inches though.
