Haha. No worries man. As long as my truck can leave you in the dust pretty soon, right? .... Centerline makes a bunch of wheels that are the same size and backspacing. The Forged are generally the light weight ones- I say go for it.

BTW- I would go with a 265 though. It's plenty big and the tread width is perfect for a 9" wheel. If you go wider to say a 9.5 or 10", then a 285 is what you want, but you might rub depending on backspacing. With your drop, you definitely want the 35 series sidewall(just watch out for potholes ).

My wheels are 22x9 with 5.5" of backspacing and I don't think I could fit a 285 on there even with rolled fender lips out back.

I'm calling them tomorrow, and if they haven't come in stock yet, I'm going to cancel my order and just order some Belltechs and be done with it. I'll let you know Monday what route I take there.

Good deal. Hey, if you get that turbo smoking my truck too bad, I might just go ahead and invest in me a little power adder. Nothing like seeing a truck on 22" fronts and 16" mickeys on the back running 11s.

Hey slow, your truck will shure look good with some 20's, IMO 22's are too big for the small single cab trucks unless you set up like chris slammed on rubberband tires(which looks really good) but may be harsh on a daily driver. Especially if the roads are like down here. I wish I could put pics of my truck on here with the 20's so you guys can check it out. Whichever wheels you get, you might want to go for billet or another light wheel b/c you will know they are on! My current set up is 20x8.5 American Racing M600 wheels w/275/45 hankook ventus tires. I'll be trying to sell them when I find the "right" wheels for my likings. It'll probably be 20's again but billet and wider wheels and tires in the back for the "new age hot rod look".

im currently sitting on a 4/4 drop with 285-35-22s. Most that go to a 3/4 or 4/6 either have custom built whels with the proper offset or 265-35-22s. Im sure you were trying something big on like 295-45-22s or similar which is great on a z71...but not yours.
