Default Two truck newbie questions.

I just bought a 2000 GMC sierra 4x4. Can anyone answer two questions for me?

One, what is the best brand of clear headlights/signals? I would prefer the crystal clear ones. But more importantly they need to NOT leak. The clear corners on my camaro leak like a **** and I have to keep getting new bulbs.

Two, What is the tallest/widest tire I can mount on stock rims at stock hight? I think I am going to run toyo or goodyear M/T's

Thanks.

well alot of the aftermarket lights are not to good, maybe you should look into some ones used denali headlights, other wise i found that the tyc company is a decent aftermaket headlight company. and the tires, i think that you can do 33inch or 275's without rubbing on a stock haight truck. someone will correct me ir im wrong.

I've got TYC crystal signals, they do pretty good except when water is applied directly to them like a car wash or something then they will fog up for a few days. over all I am pleased with em. The only reason my lights burn out is because i run the xenon white lights (witch are actually more blue) from wal-mart in both my running and turnig lights.
Just make sure you keep em clean cause they look like **** when they are dirty.

The best brand of clear headlights is GMC...i.e., clear the ones you have by removing the amber reflectors. This is a total pain in the ***, but at least they don't leak. Here's how you do it:

As far as tires, most people have good luck with 285/70R17 or 285/75R16.

to Endo.
Its really easy to clear the stock GMC headlights, just make sure you use a good silicone sealant and they shouldn't fog up. Mine have been done for 3 years and have never fogged up. TYC is the best I know of for the corners as well; I don't know of too many companies that make the crystal clear corners. I just got some cheapies from procarparts and they've been pretty good but it looks like they've yellowed a bit over time, but what can you expect for 20 bucks.
