I really like the Nitto 404 but Jen can't afford to put them on the new truck.

285/50/20 Goodyear GT II is what she's getting

The goodyears are ok.....Once you supercharge it will be a problem.

I have those exact tires, and mine hook pretty good. My truck is also [retty heavy, plus I only have a TB stall. I sure both of those help. I am pretty happy with them though especially when compared to the stock 17's. I can get those to spin on the 2-1 downshift until it upshifts again.

The Goodyears are junk but close to $120.00 a tire

The Nitto's are the shiznit and took a beating from me and an absolute *** whooping from you.

How many miles did we get out of them?

I am waiting on a group purchase for the supercharger!

If she can go 295/45-20 then I would recommend the Kumho Ecsta STX. They're about a half inch shorter, but a lot better tire for the money. And I bet you can get them for the same price (or cheaper) than the Goodyears. I got my 305/50-20's for $140 each at Discount Tire, so the smaller ones are probably cheaper.

I've heard some not-so-good things about the GT II's in the rain. I know it doesn't rain much here, but all it takes is one time to ruin your day.
